FAQs

Do I have to "reinvest"  my entire RMD?
No. You invest whatever you want in any given year. There may be minimums to be aware of when setting up the new account. Once the account is set up, there are no future investment commitments.

Once I'm in the program am I committed for any time period or dollar amount?
No.

Once my new investment account is established are there any forms needed to make changes in amounts, dates, or even if I want to stop the investment altogether?
No. There aren't any forms to fill out once you have your "new" account. Everything can be handled with a phone call.

Can I invest more than my RMD?
Yes. You can invest more than your RMD but be careful. Remember, every dollar you take out of your retirement plan is going to be taxed. So when you withdraw more, your income and tax will go up.

What about getting my money back out of my "new" investment?
If liquidity and access are important to you, the account can and will be set up with that as an available feature.
